The Shellac manicure includes a base coat, two coats of color and a top coat. Unlike a standard manicure, each coat cure for three minutes under an ultraviolet light. After the top coat is applied and cured, the manicure is rock hard, and you're good to go. You will be able to reach into your purse and even rub in some cuticle oil immediately afterward, and still your nails will still be perfect.

Shellac manicures last up to two weeks and are easily removed by soaking the nails in Acetone for 10 minutes.
